A listing of the words used in NEMOPHILA lyrics and their English translation.
The lyrics, typically in Japanese but with various amounts of English, plus romaji and English texts, all match what is published in CD booklets from JPU Records in the UK. There are cases where the CD English text is altered to keep concepts on the same line as in the Japanese text. These are noted in the source spreadsheet. For the Evolve CD, English lyrics will be fan translations, added as I stumble across them; or mostly Google Translate.
Japanese lyrics are shown with kanji in blue, hiragana in violet, katakana in magenta, and roman characters in green. The "ruby" mechanism in HTML is used to place romaji above each of the Japanese characters. You might want to adjust the zoom setting and perhaps font of your browser.
The Romaji listings tend to include additional lyrics that are present in the actual recording. In general, words that are English in the original lyrics are in all-caps in the Romaji. In the English listings, no differentiation is made between original and translated English. Romaji indicates stretched vowels by doubling the vowel, following Du-metal's approach to Romaji for BABYMETAL.
The Kanji page lists each of the characters in the lyrics that are from Kanji sections of the Unicode character sets. Each occurrence of the character is included, without regard to how they might be used in words. In general, these are sorted by their readings, as listed in the Wikipedia page of Jooyoo Kanji. Kanji outside of that list were added manually. There are cases where it is really a pair of kanji that form a word that is not derived from the normal choice of readings. These were also added manually as needed for determining the ruby text; but these pairs are not items in the By Kanji list. Some additional readings were found on wiktionary.org entries. The grade level at which a student will learn the Jooyoo kanji is given, with S meaning secondary grades, J for Jinmeiyoo kanji used in names, and for H for uncommon Hyoogai kanji.
The Romaji page lists all of the words in that body of the text, including the all-caps English words which are at the bottom of the list. Words with the same root are generally near each other, although softened consonants aren't handled. For instance, kitsune and megitsune are not grouped.
The English page lists all of the words in the English translations. These often lack a direct correlation with a Japanese word.
When a word is used multiple times on a line, the line should only be shown once. When a line repeats, each occurrence of the line is shown. Often, the published lyrics do not list all of the repeated lines.
